TERANG disability services provider Cooinda welcomed the generous support of the Terang and District Racing Club, who raised $5100 through its Farmers Day Out event this week. The funds raised will go towards furnishing a nearly $2 million specialist disability accommodation to be built in Terang. Cooinda chief executive officer Janice Harris said the accommodation will support five participants. “We’re about to put out to tender a new building that will support five participants,” she said. “We’ve started doing some fundraising for things like furniture and white goods and water tanks which is what the money from the racing club will go towards. “We’ve already got houses set up for this…
