Hamilton man charged with theft, violence loses bid at bail | The Standard

A Hamilton man accused of theft, violence and criminal damage is back in custody after a failed bid at bail. Daryl Eden, 34, of no fixed address, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with offences. The court heard the alleged offending started on February 27 when he stole about $900 cash from the wallet of an acquaintance who he allegedly owed money to. Then on March 23, Mr Eden attended a female victim’s home about 8am and a verbal argument commenced. He allegedly punched the victim to the mouth, causing her lip to swell. The offending allegedly continued on Saturday when Mr Eden arrived at a property in Hamilton’s Kenna Avenue. He was heavily intoxicated and riding a scooter. The court…
