The rustic beauty and plant diversity of Alison and David Aplin’s one-acre garden sanctuary ‘Timandra’ will be open for visitors for the final time this weekend. Located at 82 Windham Street, Narrawong, Timandra features an array of majestic gums and understorey plants provide habitat for koalas, many species of birds and frogs. Recycled items have become quirky features in the garden. The couple has developed the garden over the past 13 years using sustainable principles.
