New GP medical hub opens at Lyndoch for Warrnambool public | The Standard

A new GP medical hub at Lyndoch’s Hopkins River site has opened its doors to the public this week. The new clinic will operate from under the rear of the new $15 million Swinton wing until the three-storey medical centre is built next door. The old Tomlinson buildings have been demolished to make way for the $17-million one-stop-shop medical facility with work soon to get under way and be completed by June next year. Five GPs will be based at the temporary location of the new Lyndoch Medical Hub with a number having relocated from Warrnambool Medical Clinic’s two sites on Liebig Street and the Target Centre. Those two city centre sites will continue operating until work on the new multi-storey building is complete. …
