Today commemorates and recognises the dedication and sacrifice of Australian service men and women who served on Operation TAMAR. In 1994, Australian peacekeepers were deployed to Rwanda as part of the United Nations Assistance Mission in response to the humanitarian crisis. Thank you for your service.
