Transformers come to Warrnambool for school holiday fun | The Standard

IT was a dream come true for a group of kids lucky enough to meet the Transformers in Warrnambool. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee paid a visit to Rafferty’s Tavern for a school holiday special on Monday. Rafferty’s general manager Mark McIlroy said it was a sellout success. “It was very busy and successful with a sold-out crowd,” he said. “It was good to have the Transformers back in town. “The kids loved it, Bumblebee was their favourite I think. There were a few carpark shenanigans with them tapping on car windows and things, it was very good fun. “We’ve had a great school holiday program even though it has been reduced because of COVID.” Mr McIlroy welcomed the further relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions over the…
